La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +

So I've decided that I'm going to be doing a few small reviews of the products I currently use, and also products I will be trying very soon. I've found a few holy grail products that I really want to share with you guys so stay tuned for more.

The first product that I want to talk rave about is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +.
"Corrective unclogging care. Anti-imperfections, anti-marks." - and I have to say, it does what it says on the box. This is not just the best moisturiser, but definitely the best product that I have ever used on my face, especially because of my sensitive skin.

This is a hypoallergenic gel type cream that comes in a 40ml nozzle tube. It's a very simple design and packaging, and I like that it's not too glamorously packaged so as to take away from the actual effect of the product.

La Roche Posay claims that it has 24hr hydration - which I agree with. I don't find my skin drying up quickly. I use this product every morning and an additional 3 nights a week. It does absorb extremely quickly - about less than a minute after I apply it unlike many other moisturisers and creams. It becomes matte and non-oily so to dry up the excess oil on my t-zone and moisturise the drier skin on my face (since I have combination skin). 

In the long run, this product helps to control the appearance of shine on my face (which I have a lot of naturally), it lessens the redness found in typical areas of redness such as the nose, chin, cheeks and lower forehead and creates a softer, relaxed look about the skin. 

After a few weeks to a month of using this product, I started to notice my pores were much less clogged and the texture of my skin was refined (as stated on the website). Also, I seemed to have less hyperpigmentation or irregular skin discolouration. 

The overall best thing about this product though.. NO SPOTS!

I used to suffer from acne and spots badly on my t-zone, most of my forehead and a lot of my cheeks. After using this product for only about 2 weeks, I really, really noticed the amount of spots reduce incredibly and they weren't coming back either. I can't even count the number of spot treatment gels and creams I have used in the past, but none of them were as good at fighting spots as this cream (and also preventing any more appearing).

I would seriously give this a 5 star rating!

This product seems to treat every aspect of my face and so well, too. I would recommend to everyone who has problems with spots, redness, clogged pores or just irregular skin markings. 

And a serious bonus about this product - it works as an amazing foundation base.
