SPRING FAVOURITES

Hello beauty fanatics,

As it's nearing spring, I felt it would be a good idea to start spreading the love about my 4 new favourite skincare products.. A 'fresh' start to the season!
I picked up these products over the past few months and I have to say: I'm obsessing!

Also - it's BESOS BEAUTY'S FIRST BIRTHDAY! I can't believe it's already been a year since my first blogpost (teehee) - It's crazy how much my little blog has grown over the past 12 months, and I'm so grateful for all of my followers here & across my social media accounts.

I've been introduced to a few new moisturising products.. One of these I had heard of previously, but I actually had only tested a small amount before and not nearly enough to get a good idea about it. This product was the famous..

1. Cetaphil
This is a similar product to the well know E45 lotion (one of my holy grail products) as it is unscented, very pure/simple and extremely moisturising. This is the kind of moisturiser you wouldn't be afraid to use on baby skin as it's that gentle. I adore this & I had to invest in the big bottle because I couldn't bare not having it at arms reach. I use this before I sleep so my skin absorbs it properly, and then I don't have to in the morning as I wake up with super soft and hydrated skin, ready for makeup!
This is also wonderful for soothing very damaged, dry and irritated skin or hive-like patches. This is a very hydrating moisturiser, however - it is not oily and not thick. In fact it's one of the thinnest, most lightweight moisturisers I own!
I bought this in Lloyds Pharmacy but most pharmacies would carry this range, including Boots.

2. Egyptian Magic
This little gem I came across a while back but only got my hands on when on the plane home to Ireland a couple of months ago. This is loved by various celebs around the world and it's definitely clear as to why. It's something you just want to slather all over your face after a day with super drying makeup or during a long flight.
The secret ingredients in this product include honey, beeswax, olive oil, royal jelly, bee pollen and bee propolis. In fact, that's all of the ingredients. No added preservatives, fragrances or chemicals.
This is a wonderful moisturiser but it also has many other uses including healing burns, fading scars and relief from eczema and psoriasis. For a full list of other possible uses, click here
This has quite an oily, balm-like texture which some people prefer to steer clear of (and usually myself, too) but I make an exception for this as it really is wonderful for so many things. It's brilliant for putting over serious dry patches of skin which I often have due to acne medication/products.

3. Nuxe Créme Fraiche de Beauté
This is a gorgeous, rich facial moisturiser which makes me swoon every time I get a sniff of it. It's quite a thick consistency but it doesn't feel heavy when applied, like your skin is drowning in product.  Nuxe is one of my favourite brands ever and this is one of their best products in my opinion. If you have quite dry skin and like to use rich, fragranced moisturisers then this is for you. It's such a smooth, creamy texture unlike the Cetaphil, which is thin and lightweight.
It's an intensive face cream, but well worth it if you have dry to very dry skin. It can also be used on sensitive skin, despite the fragrance.
This can be bought in most pharmacies which sell Nuxe, but head into Space NK if you're not sure where to purchase it.

4. MAC Studio Moisture Cream
This is a lovely, scented product from MAC. It's my first skincare product from MAC but it seems pretty good so far! It's more of a light daily moisturiser, and is best used just before applying makeup. What I like about this product the most is the scent and the way it spreads easily over the skin so not very much is needed. I feel like it's made specially for wearing under makeup and that my foundation sits the best on top of this moisturiser. I would consider this one of my "feel good" moisturisers because my face smells so lovely afterwards and feels soft straight away as it dries pretty quickly.
You can purchase this in any MAC store.

So they're my new 4 favourite fresh moisturising products - it's hard to decide which one I want to wear at which time! Keep your eyes on my Instagram for notice about my next post, I'll be reviewing a very special, well-known product that I have been using for a while. Thanks for reading!

Besos,
Rosee.
